B: Being the director of a movie, is it sort of like being the director of a high school?
Peter: [laughs] In part...
B: Like does everyone get quiet when you come in, like "oh, shit"...
Peter: One of the things I don't like about being a director is that people always laugh at your bad jokes.
B: Like you say, "oh, a hobbit's like a midget..."
J: "... yeah that's right!!" [laughs]
Peter: Yeah I try to encourage people not to do that.
B: What kind of music do you listen to?
Peter: Um, I'm a moron when it comes to music... I listen to the Beatles...
B: Snoop Dogg?
Peter: Who?
B: Snoop Doggy Dog?
Peter: Don't know, don't know...
J: Have you ever heard of us - Good Charlotte?
Peter: Good Charlotte? Oh, the Beatles and Good Charlotte, that was the other band, it was on the tip of my tongue...
[Joel gives Peter a CD]
J: That's us, our new CD, the Young and the Hopeless, it's our new CD.
Peter: Aw, thank you!
J: We felt really lucky, when they told us about this, we were so excited because we got to go see the movie before everyone, and man it's just so awesome...
Peter: Thank you.
B: Touché...
J: Yes, touché!
[Peter shakes hands with Joel and Benji]
J: I think you're gonna win an, um, Oscar, or an -
J and B: Emmy...
[long pause]
J: Er, what's the award you win for movies?
[someone shouts out ‘Oscar’]
J: Oscar! I think you're gonna win one.
[Peter laughs]

[cut to inside lift]
B: I think we're really good at this.
